How To Change The Keyfob Battery For A Range Rover Vogue (2018–2024)
The 2018–2024 Range Rover Vogue (L405 facelift) uses the same updated JLR InControl smart key. Battery replacement takes about 3 minutes.
What You'll Need
- The keyfob itself
- Flat screwdriver or coin
- New CR2032 battery
Step-by-Step Instructions
Slide out the emergency blade
Press the release button on the side of the fob and slide out the metal emergency key.
Open at the seam gap
Use the flat edge of the emergency blade to prise open the two halves at the seam.
Replace the battery
Remove the old CR2032 and insert the new one, + side UP.
Reassemble and test
Clip the two halves shut firmly. Reinsert the blade and test the buttons.
Pro Tip
The Vogue's keyfob and the Sport's keyfob use the same CR2032 battery and the same opening procedure.
