How To Change The Keyfob Battery For A Jaguar F-Type (2020–2024)

What You'll Need
- The keyfob itself
- Flat screwdriver or coin
- New CR2032 battery
Step-by-Step Instructions
Slide out the emergency blade
Press the release on the fob and slide out the metal emergency blade.
Open the keyfob
Use the blade edge or a coin to gently prise apart the two halves at the seam gap.
Swap the battery
Remove the CR2032 and insert a new one with the + side facing UP.
Reassemble and test
Clip the two halves shut, reinsert the blade, and test the buttons.
